One year after the heinous terror attack in #Pahalgam, we remember with deep sorrow the 25 innocent tourists and the brave local resident who were killed in this brutal act of violence. The attack not only targeted civilians, it also struck at the very soul of Kashmir and all that it stands for. Yet, Kashmir has remained resilient and united in its pursuit of peace, justice and the complete eradication of terrorism. As we pay homage to those we lost, we also look ahead with hope for a future free from such acts of terror.

Attended the Joint Parliamentary Committee meeting on the One Nation, One Election (ONOE) Bill. ONOE could act as a natural deterrent to defections, strengthening political stability. It can also significantly reduce election expenditure and ease the burden on administrative machinery and security forces from continuous electoral cycles.

Recent events in the Middle East are deeply worrying. I am following the conflict with grave concern, particularly for the civilians caught in the crossfire. This is a time for restraint and responsibility. All sides must return to the path of diplomacy and avoid steps that could further inflame tensions. Dialogue remains the only credible way forward. I sincerely hope cooler heads prevail to prevent further suffering and to safeguard stability in an already fragile region!
