Earlier this year, our teams in Ethiopia, Tanzania and Kenya unveiled the new Champions App to empower healthcare workers and community influencers to engage hard-to-reach communities. 📱💪 #ChampionsApp

Recently, we participated in the premiere of Tuki, a TV series launched as part of the Tukisonga Campaign by @girleffect. The launch featured a preview of the TV series, set to air on mainstream channels. The series offers a compelling portrayal of the challenges, dreams, and aspirations of young women, aligning with the campaign’s broader vision of empowerment and social impact. Key moments included opening remarks from representatives of local leadership and @girleffect leadership, followed by a panel discussion led by a @MOH_Kenya representative, who highlighted the government’s role in policy-making and establishing guidelines to ensure adolescents and youth have access to Sexual and Reproductive Health services. The panel also featured a testimony from a young person who has directly benefited from @girleffect’s initiatives, emphasizing the tangible impact of the campaign. This event strongly resonated with our ongoing efforts to advocate for transformative change for adolescents and young people. Tuki and the broader Tukisonga Campaign serve as powerful tools for sparking conversations, fostering empowerment and improving access to essential SRH services among youth, reflecting shared goals and values across the sector. #RHNKImpact #RHNK4SRHR

2024 was a year for brand & program launches! We released our new Yegna music video, launched a Yegna reality series, launched BRAND NEW youth brands in South Africa & Kenya, launched dramedies in South Africa & Kenya, and kicked off the implementation of our program in Nigeria!

This year, we launched #TheGirlEffectPodcast which cuts through the mainstream AI chatter to showcase how this technology can empower girls. Shoutout to our amazing team & heartfelt thanks to all our inspiring guests who shared their wisdom & experiences on AI and tech for good.
