Looking into this further, the ruleset actually did lay out that for Oceania there was no Singapore server option. Seems like a TO restriction as opposed to the team, but obviously a fair playing ground re: ping for these online events needs to be the highest priority.

Realistically we're a massive underdog even on equivalent ping, but all we're looking for is just the most fair ping differential possible, and hopefully in the future with these tournaments we won't have to play the first game before they add Singapore as an option 🥲

Forcing us to play on a Tokyo server with a ~100 ping difference in one of the only opportunities we get as a region. Thanks for the sportsmanship! pathetic @rare_atom Having a server veto where none of the servers are even remotely fair for us is ridiculous @CS_PerfectWorld

@BenTheLegendCS @heroicgg @100Thieves bounty is all about your opponents. Heroic have plenty of results against a variety of teams and have cashed out a few tournaments. Beating teams ranked 'worse' then them isnt going to do much. 100T has nowhere near enough results to exhaust

I got an idea, we create a monopoly for OCE CS2. All tournaments/qualifiers are operated by @dfragtv . the TO just gives them the info/format and date due. Dfrag schedule it and run it. To cover costs Dfrag takes a % of the prizepool to cover any staffing expenses the TO wont

@MischiefCS2 @messioso @JesperLarsen222 Thanks thought so, whether its worth it for GenOnes 1000 VRS is probably another question. Probably not the best example but if they had 1200 VRS we might have something. Sell for 30k, 10k per player, of course an org would by 1000+ VRS for 30k

Could you sell a VRS core as free agents? If the news about GenOne is true, could they sell? They have 3, sell to an org with lower VRS, bring in 2 from the org, play some games, then bring in the others. Is it as crazy as it sounds @messioso @JesperLarsen222 @MischiefCS2
