If I want to be a politician I’ll run for a constituency (the correct one I’ll get with ease) become an MP and play politics. It is literally a game, look at the Green Party 🤦🏻‍♂️ However I want to be the Mayor of London not a politician (for now). I want to run independently, I do not want to be corrupted or swayed by a political agenda/narrative nor bend the knee to one. Politics has a terrible habit of bleeding its way into absolutely everything and in order to stop this habit from spreading we must start stripping it away from certain positions and organizations. We have to start giving the power back to the people. That’s why as an independent Mayor of London I will be accountable to the people, to the boroughs and to London only. The role of Mayor is suppose to create a bigger, greater and safer London. Not divide, segregate and watch our capital city literally die from the inside out.
