Gold Student Strike Hub

Just so folks are aware, we're not running a student strike hub at the SU this term. We will be able to share info and signal boost, if you want to get involved in student activism during the strike check out the excellent work @we_demand_more have been doing

Snacks are available in the SU liberation room for the BAME space, so if you are a BAME student in need of a quiet space with some snacks and refreshments it is a closed space until 3pm today <3 #ucustrikes @GoldsmithsUCU @GoldsmithsSU

@MonaMounir Again, just to reiterate the support offered by SU sabbs and individual staff went above and beyond. We are sorry that our original tweets did not reflect this. However, the management structure that a paid role would have imposed would have resulted in a loss of student autonomy

@MonaMounir However, given that we have not been contacted via email nor our twitter with only 2 days to go until the first day of the strike, we could only assume that the SU would be running it themselves? This was upsetting given previous experiences during the last strike.
