@MMcEwanGolf 100% agree with you. It’s quite flat and lacks the spark of the other Majors. Hopefully it ignites over the last 2 days and we get a final round thriller.

I feel like I've said this a lot about the PGA C'ship but this just hasn't got the feel of a major so far. Not sure what it is. The leaderboard, the course, the broadcast, something intangible. It just feels like I'm watching a PGA Tour event, and not a signature one.

@JackxJewell So by your logic stop taxing everyone then. Grow the economy by giving those on the least money more to spend thus bringing money into the economy, growing jobs and increasing production. The companies then make more money so tax them and their owners. Win win.

I really can’t deal with this guy. Could he at least stop slouching like a gremlin? He reeks of arrogance and seems to have it all figured out. Audience lap it up - can we give the UK a course on economics? You need to actually grow an economy - not just ‘tax the rich.’

@jamiepatts99 @anonymous_darts Agree 100% with you. The amount of already drunk people in the queue was a joke. Several of them should have been refused access. The quarters had an okay atmosphere but it was toxic by the end of the semi finals

@anonymous_darts Then the first half of the night goes great and the second half involves pints being thrown everywhere and people beating lumps out of each other. Another solution is if you’re deemed to be too drunk you don’t get let in and/or served once you’re in

When the Premier league came to Glasgow in 2011, Adrian Lewis was pelted with pints during his walk on and had coins thrown at him during his match. 14 years on and suddenly the PDC want to do something about it? It’s too late lads, the horse bolted a long time ago.

@jambon75 @OfficialPDC I was down on a table with my son. The end of the straw for us was when the drink started flying. The state of some of the people around us was shocking. Their attitude towards the players was terrible too

@ArronBarnesGK @OfficialPDC Agreed - the stewards couldn’t do a thing against those numbers. We were at the end of a row in the top tier and had a guy trying to fight our group of six for the crime of pointing out he couldn’t go past a closed gate. It’s out of control in Glasgow.

@SkySportsDarts The atmosphere started off great last night but the more an element of the crowd drank the more toxic it became. The drinks being thrown, the whistling and general behaviour by some was shocking. Ruined it for the real darts fans. A rethink is required on crowds etc.

@swanabi It turned real sour during the semis and final last night. Too many people who can’t hold their alcohol. The booing, whistling and throwing of drinks was embarrassing. Feel sorry for the real fans and sad for the players who had to try to play through that

Yet again, well done to those who paid good money to go and watch the best darts players in the world put on a show and actively contributed to them not delivering their absolute best by whistling. Really clever, that. There is no way you can be a fan of the sport if you do that.

@OfficialPDC @BetMGMUK @LukeTheNuke180 @OVOHydro I’m just in from it. The crowd got progressively worse as they drank more and more. At the end the whistling, booing and amount of drink being thrown about was terrible. Not exactly a good showcase for sport in Scotland.

@btrainer73 Heard that the guys on the space station heard a knocking at the door. When they opened it a wee weird alien looking thing in a castore finest tracksuit said that he had text Clemente after the game to say that it was defo a penalty. It’s went galactic

My mate is working down in Antartica & was out on patrol on his ski-do talking to a tribe of Eskimos & they were saying they couldn’t believe that wasn’t a penalty in last Sundays derby. They were in total shock. Unbelievable Jeff.🍀❄️😭
