New video! Here are my first impressions of the Anbernic RG Rotate: unique form factor, the swivel hinge is clever and satisfying, screen is nice. It's a surprisingly powerful mini Android handheld and fun media player. youtu.be/_OaCJlkyNHQ
But strangely, no 3.5mm jack.

Valve’s new Steam Machine will probably cost $600 to $650, according to the well-known leaker Moore’s Law Is Dead.
He says the basic 512 GB version is more expensive than he previously thought, because memory and storage parts have gotten way more expensive lately.
He says if Valve charges over $700, it’s a bad idea and you’d get better value from a regular PS5 (which costs about $500–600 right now) or a similar gaming PC for around $700–750.
For heavy Steam users, $600 could make it a smart buy. But if the price goes higher, most people would probably choose a PS5 for its exclusive games or a full PC that you can upgrade later.
Valve hasn’t announced the official price yet. Back in the 2010s, their first Steam Machines didn’t sell well for the same reason.

Nothing makes me happier than to see Super ZSNES released but not because its a new emulator with amazing new features, no.
Its because they just slapped on the word "super" and boom new project, this was exactly what happened with so many snes titles.

Battlefield 6 | 2026 Roadmap Update + What’s Next
Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts on last week’s 2026 roadmap. Seeing the response has meant a lot to the team, and we’re genuinely grateful to have you on this journey with us.
We’re continuing to dig through all of your feedback so we can focus on the things you care about most in the months ahead. In the meantime, we’ve seen a few questions come up consistently—so here are some quick answers:
▪️We’re actively exploring improvements to the combat experience, with gunplay as a primary focus, and will continue iterating on these changes with player feedback through Battlefield Labs.
▪️Ranked play will be available at the start of Season 3 in REDSEC BR Quads, MP Ranked arrives later this year.
▪️Railway to Golmud is larger than Operation Firestorm.
▪️Server Browser details are still being finalized, but it’s a priority for us to talk about as soon as they’re ready.
Season 3 is also just around the corner, so you won’t be waiting long to learn more. Starting next week, we’ll be taking a deep dive into Railway to Golmud and how it’s been reimagined for Battlefield 6, alongside some of the changes and improvements based on player feedback from the recent Battlefield Labs tests.
We’ll also be sharing changes to land vehicles designed to make their gameplay more consistent, responsive, and viable in a wider variety of engagements. Then in early May, we’ll walk you through the full Ranked Play experience so you’re ready to jump into Fort Lyndon when Season 3 launches.
We’ll keep the updates coming as we head into Season 3 next month.
Until then, we’ll see you on the Battlefield.

Valve has just rolled out the first beta of Proton 11, the newest version of its tool that lets Windows games run on Linux and the Steam Deck.
This update brings dozens of titles out of the experimental stage and into the main beta, making them far more stable and accessible.
Now playable (previously worked with Proton Experimental):
-Universe Generator: The Golden Sword
-DCS World Steam Edition
-Resident Evil (1996)
-Resident Evil 2 (1998)
-Dino Crisis
-Dino Crisis 2
-From Dust
-Blaite
-Don't Die Dateless, Dummy!
-METAL GEAR SURVIVE
Warhammer: Vermintide 2
-Metal Fatigue
-SHOGUN: Total War.
>Newly playable:
-Unknown Faces
-Gothic 1 Classic
-X-Plane 12
-Breath of Fire IV
-Deadly Premonition
The beta also includes important fixes for recent problems with EA and Rockstar launcher games
An early ARM64 build is available too, which could improve compatibility on future portable devices.
This release keeps building on Valve’s work to make more games feel at home on Linux-based systems, with a full stable version expected soon after testing.

Linux gaming just leveled up.
Proton 11:
• expands playable library massively
• fixes launcher issues (EA, Rockstar, REDLauncher)
• improves stability across modern titles
• restores compatibility for many broken games
Real-world improvements:
• smoother frame pacing
• reduced input lag and stutter
• working overlays and UI elements
• better audio and video playback
System upgrades:
• Wine 11 core (new compatibility layer)
• DXVK 2.7 + VKD3D updates (DirectX → Vulkan)
• improved GPU utilization
• better multi-monitor and scaling behavior
Extras:
• VR support improved significantly
• controller support expanded (including edge cases)
• fixes for crashes, freezes, and memory issues
Before:
Linux gaming = troubleshooting
Now:
Linux gaming = launch and play
That gap is gone.

Hardware sales in Japan from last week:
1) Switch 2 - 52,058
2) Switch - 21,134
3) PS5 - 8,673
4) Xbox - 685
I'm sure Nintendo would like those Switch sales to be Switch 2 sales, but stock is seemingly always unstable.
