Noelia Castillo Ramos was gang-raped by migrants from North Africa because of policy decisions the government made to let in millions of men from Muslim-majority countries who believe white women are there to be raped. She is rightfully struggling mentally, tried to commit suicide by jumping out of a fifth-story window, failed, and the Spanish government decided they have the power to tell her it won't get better for her and that she deserves to die at 25 years old because her mental struggles (that they caused) are incurable.
This is not "government-assisted suicide." This is execution.

Hace diez años fui estudiante de intercambio en Francia. Fue en una universidad pública donde el ratio mujer/hombre era 70:30. Califiqué para tomar todas mis clases en francés, por lo que tuve una experiencia local entre franceses.
Era impresionante lo hermosas, seguras e inteligentes que eran mis compañeras francesas. Muy intensas y apasionadas en sus creencias. Pensaba que solo era en mi facultad pero conocías a otras que eran igual.
Donde vengo puedes encontrar una que otra pero allí eran abundantes.
En la cafetería podían discutir de política, literatura y filosofía con tal elocuencia que un tercermundista como yo quedaba impresionado. Ni siquiera en las salidas nocturnas cedían al chisme banal.
Muy pocas tenían novio. Ya en aquel entonces se sentía la guerra entre géneros que hoy prevalece mundialmente. Los mismos hombres te lo decían, que las consideraban insufribles.
Como yo estaba de paso todo me parecía divertido.
