As the Islamabad Talks commenced, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, held a meeting with the Vice President of the United States of America, His Excellency JD Vance. Commending the commitment of both delegations to engage constructively, the Prime Minister expressed the hope that these talks would serve as a stepping stone toward durable peace in the region. The Prime Minister also reiterated that Pakistan looks forward to continue its facilitation of both sides in making progress towards sustainable peace in the region. #IslamabadTalks

As the Islamabad Talks commenced today, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with His Excellency JD Vance, Vice President of the United States of America. The U.S. Vice President was assisted by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Mr. Jared Kushner. The Prime Minister was assisted by Deputy Prime Minister & Foreign Minister Sen. Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Sen. Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. Press Release - Arrival of the US delegation for Islamabad Talks A high-powered US delegation led by US Vice President H.E. J.D. Vance along with Special Envoy Mr. Steve Witkoff and Mr. Jared Kushner arrived in Islamabad today to participate in Islamabad Talks. The US delegation was received by Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Minister for Interior Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi upon arrival. Welcoming the US Vice President, the DPM/FM commended US commitment to achieving lasting regional and global peace and stability. DPM/FM expressed the hope that parties would engage constructively, and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to continue facilitating the parties towards reaching lasting and durable solution to the conflict.

وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کا قوم سے خطاب وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف نے امریکہ اور ایران کے درمیان عارضی جنگ بندی کے بعد اسلام آباد میں مذاکرات کو تاریخ ساز موقع اور پاکستان اور عالمِ اسلام کے لیے قابلِ فخر لمحہ قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ خلیج میں جنگ کی نہیں، اب امن کی باتیں ہو رہی ہیں۔ عارضی جنگ بندی کے بعد زیادہ کٹھن مرحلہ دیرپا جنگ بندی اور مذاکرات کے ذریعے الجھے ہوئے مسائل کو حل کرنے کا ہے۔ ایران اور امریکہ کی قیادت ہماری پرخلوص دعوت پر مذاکراتی عمل کے لیے اسلام آباد آرہی ہے۔ پاکستانی قیادت ان مذاکرات کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے حتیٰ المقدور کوشش کرے گی۔ امن مذاکرات کی کامیابی سے ان گنت معصوم زندگیاں بچ جائیں گی۔ قیامِ امن کے لیے نائب وزیراعظم و وزیر خارجہ اسحاق ڈار اور چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف اور چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز، فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر (NI (M), HJ) اور ان کی ٹیم کی انتھک کوششیں قابلِ تحسین ہیں۔ چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف اور چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز، فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر (NI (M), HJ) کے شاندار کردار کو سنہرے حروف میں یاد رکھا جائے گا۔ قوم مذاکرات کی کامیابی کے لیے دعائیں کرے۔

وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کا قوم سے خطاب وزیراعظم نے عوامی ریلیف کے لیے پٹرول کی قیمت میں 12 روپے اور ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 135 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پٹرول اب 378 روپے سے کم ہو کر 366 روپے اور ڈیزل 520 روپے سے کم ہو کر 385 روپے پر دستیاب ہوگا۔ موٹر سائیکل، پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ اور مال بردار گاڑیوں کے لیے سبسڈی بدستور جاری رہے گی۔ اللہ کے فضل و کرم سے خلیج میں جنگ کی نہیں، اب امن کی باتیں ہو رہی ہیں۔

Arrival of the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Islamabad Talks

His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, Finance Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who was on a one-day visit to Islamabad called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House. The Prime Minister conveyed his respectful regards to His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and H.R.H Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.The Prime Minister reiterated that the people and Government of Pakistan had always stood shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters at all times, and this was an abiding bond between both countries, that had grown stronger under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. The Saudi Finance Minister thanked the Prime Minister and reaffirmed the resolve of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to further strengthen the longstanding deep-rooted fraternal bonds between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as envisioned by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Finance Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Welcoming the Saudi dignitary, the Prime Minister conveyed his respectful regards to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Prime Minister fondly recalled his recent warm and cordial telephone conversation with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. He also expressed appreciation for the Crown Prince’s deep affection towards Pakistan, as well as for the Kingdom's longstanding economic and financial support to Pakistan over the years, which has played a vital role in Pakistan's economic stability.

"جب سے قیامت خیز مہنگائی کا طوفان آیا ہے۔ میں نے آپ سے یہ وعدہ کیا تھا کہ جونہی عالمی منڈی میں تیل کی قیمتیں گریں گی، میں ان شاء اللہ وہ فائدہ فوراً آپ تک پہنچاؤں گا۔ گندم کی کٹائی شروع ہو چکی ہے اور اس مرحلے پر اپنے محنتی کسان کے لیے لاگت کم کرنا انتہائی ضروری ہے۔ ورنہ نا صرف کسان کی محنت ضائع ہو جائے گی بلکہ عام شہری کے گھروں میں کھانے پینے کی اشیاء بھی مہنگی ہو جائیں گی۔ لہٰذا میں ڈیزل کی قیمت میں فوری طور پر 135 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کا اعلان کرتا ہوں۔ ڈیزل کی قیمت جو اس وقت 520 روپے فی لیٹر ہے، وہ کم ہو کر 380 روپے فی لیٹر ہو جائے گی، اور آپ کو ڈیزل اسی نئی قیمت پر دستیاب ہوگا۔ اسی طرح پٹرول کی قیمت، جس میں میں نے پچھلے ہفتے 80 روپے فی لیٹر کمی کا اعلان کیا تھا، اس میں آج مزید 12 روپے کمی کا اعلان کر رہا ہوں، اور اس طرح پٹرول کی قیمت آج رات 12 بجے 378 روپے سے کم ہو کر 366 روپے فی لیٹر ہو جائے گی۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ پچھلے جمعہ کو میں نے چاروں صوبوں کی عوام ،گلگت بلتستان اور آزاد کشمیر کے بھائیوں اور بہنوں کے لیے صوبائی حکومتوں کے مشورے اور ان کے بھرپور تعاون سے جو ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی کا اعلان کیا تھا، وہ سبسڈی بدستور آپ کے لیے جاری و ساری رہے گی۔" ~وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کا قوم سے خطاب

"ان نازک ترین لمحات میں پاکستان کی قیادت نے انتہائی محتاط انداز میں مگر بڑے اعتماد کے ساتھ دونوں فریقین کو عارضی جنگ بندی پر نا صرف راضی کیا بلکہ اسلام آباد آنے کے لیے پُرخلوص دعوت بھی دی، اس کے لیے میں ڈپٹی پرائم منسٹر اسحاق ڈار صاحب اور ان کی ٹیم کو دن رات کی محنت اور خلوصِ دل کے ساتھ کیے گئے کام پر خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں۔ اور خاص طور پر فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر اور ان کی ٹیم کو دل کی گہرائیوں سے تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں، جنہوں نے انتھک محنت کے ذریعے جنگ کے شعلے بجھانے اور فریقین کو مذاکرات پر راضی کرنے کے لیے ایک کلیدی اور تاریخ ساز کردار ادا کیا۔ عارضی جنگ بندی کا اعلان ہو چکا ہے، مگر اب اس سے بھی زیادہ کٹھن مرحلہ دیرپا جنگ بندی کا ہے، یعنی مذاکرات کے ذریعے الجھے ہوئے مسائل کو حل کرنا۔ میں آپ سب سے درخواست کروں گا کہ آپ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حضور دعا کریں کہ ربِ ذوالجلال ان مذاکرات کو اپنی کامل مہربانی سے کامیاب فرمائے۔ اس سلسلے میں کل دونوں ممالک کی قیادت ان شاء اللہ اسلام آباد میں موجود ہو گی، اور پاکستانی قیادت ان مذاکرات کو کامیاب بنانے کے لیے اپنی حتیٰ المقدور کوشش خلوص کے ساتھ کرے گی۔" ~وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کا قوم سے خطاب

"آج میں آپ سے ایک تاریخ ساز موقع پر بات کر رہا ہوں، ایسے موقع پر جب اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل و کرم سے یہاں جنگ نہیں بلکہ امن کی باتیں ہو رہی ہیں۔ وہ فریقین جو کل تک جنگ میں آمنے سامنے تھے اور خطہ تباہی کا منظر پیش کر رہا تھا، آج الحمدللہ دونوں فریقین بات چیت کے ذریعے معاملات طے کرنے پر راضی ہو چکے ہیں۔ اس انتہائی اہم پیشرفت پر اپنے برادر ملک ایران اور امریکہ کی قیادت کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں، جنہوں نے میری تجویز قبول کرتے ہوئے ناصرف عارضی جنگ بندی پر اتفاق کیا بلکہ میری پُرخلوص دعوت پر دونوں ممالک کی قیادت اسلام آباد تشریف لا رہی ہیں، جہاں امن کے قیام کے لیے مذاکرات ہوں گے۔ پاکستان کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے میزبانی کا شرف عطا فرمایا ہے، یہ صرف پاکستان کے لیے نہیں بلکہ عالمِ اسلام کے لیے بھی ایک لمحۂ فخر ہے، اور جس کے لیے ہم ربِ ذوالجلال کا جتنا بھی شکر ادا کریں کم ہے۔" ~وزیراعظم محمد شہباز شریف کا قوم سے خطاب

Received a warm call from Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom, this evening. Appreciate his support for Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic efforts that helped facilitate the Iran–U.S. ceasefire and advance dialogue. I also welcome the joint statement by key European and international leaders, including PM Starmer, endorsing our peace initiatives. We agreed on the importance of sustaining the ceasefire to create the conditions for lasting peace and stability in the region. Also discussed ways to further strengthen Pakistan–UK relations across all areas of mutual interest. I look forward to welcoming PM Starmer to Pakistan. @Keir_Starmer
