@TreizeNRI @ecalabr As much as I love ASL, I’d wonder about venous reflux from the labeling plane for case 2. Other slices or black blood T1 pst contrast would help. Dotatate confirmation would be good too if there is no surgical proof. But agree w Evan that ASL is super useful for tumor imaging!

@ecalabr How can you be sure and confirm that these are real meningiomas in dural venous sinus and not some artefact on ASL sequence? Image 2 is odd . Love to hear your answer with more MRI images

There are meningiomas hiding in plain sight... We just need the tools to find them. Here are two cases of meningiomas hiding in the dural venous sinuses. Easy to miss, but ASL perfusion makes them jump off of the screen. Are you using routine perfusion imaging for brain tumors?

@GregZ_MD @stanfordneuroi1 "We found that deep learning models with volumetric MRI data only as inputs can be used to predict amyloid status with an AUC of about 0.7. The use of multicontrast MRI significantly improved the predictions, and this generalized to an external data set."

A power couple in imaging excellence. Congratulations to Dr. Satoshi Minoshima on receiving the RSNA Gold Medal Award and to both of our distinguished medalists for their incredible contributions to radiology. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with our team in Chicago.🏅

Commercially available AI-accelerated MRI algorithms shorten acquisition time and improve image quality, with the potential downstream effects of increased number of images and higher demand on radiologists. @GregZ_MD bit.ly/490oC61
