All those decisions made by artists, completely absent in the final image. Imagine being the artist behind those textures that are now totally obfuscated, or the designer that chose what Grace's eyelashes and lips would look like. It's the machine who chooses now.

Imagine being a lighting artist. You take the creative decision to darken the background to make the soldiers stand out, you make the light on their faces green to simulate bounce light, you choose to have a subtle key light to keep it grounded...and then DLSS 5 changes all that.

🚨 NVIDIA acaba de anunciar el DLSS 5 y parece una aberración. Una herramienta tan útil como lo es el DLSS para reescalar la imagen, termina convirtiéndose en una modificación visual que parece sacada de la IA. Se carga totalmente la dirección de arte. Un sinsentido esto.

Por cómo lo dice, me hace pensar que no será enteramente en 2D 😔 puede que fondos y texturas planas pero tiene pinta de que no se atreven a volver al 2D para largometrajes, ojalá me equivoque
