Trick let out a sigh that sounded like he had been holding his breath. “It’s… Fine,” He replies, regaining his composure, “Let’s just… Go in his office now.”

Elliot quickly stepped back, hands raised in the air. “Sorry, sorry! I should’ve asked first!” He looked away awkwardly. He definitely didn’t want to mess things up and make a bad impression, especially not with someone he was trying to befriend.

Trick seemed stunned in shock as Elliot to fix his tie. After a few moments of processing, Trick pulled away from the boy. “Right, right! Enough!" Trick exclaims, “Could’ve asked first.”

Elliot glanced at Trick and paused, eyeing the tie hanging around his neck. “…Okay, we’re starting here. Let’s make you look at least a little presentable!” He stepped closer, gently taking the loose strip of fabric, beginning to fix it.

“Emotional support…? The fuck?” Trick was clearly confused, “Did my nan die or something?”

“Ah- no, no!” Elliot waved his hands quickly. “The PC principal did! I’m more of a… uh, emotional support, if you want to call it that!”

Trick took a small step back as he was approached. “W— Did you call me here??”

Elliot had been waiting outside the principal’s office. The moment he spotted Trick, his face lit up and he gave him a quick wave. “Good you showed up on time!” Elliot walked over to him.

“This is so bullshit,” Trick complained, “I don’t even know what I di—“ Trick suddenly stopped in his tracks, taking notice of someone sitting outside the office. “… Oh.”

“BYE!” Oscar blurted out suddenly, then turned and ran off down the hallway as fast as he could.

Romeo tilted his head. “S-s-s-s what?” he mocked, dragging the sound out on purpose. “Go on, I’m waiting.”

Oscar brushed his head and looked up. “I’m so, so s-s… s…” His words caught in his throat when he saw Romeo. His face suddenly burned red.

Romeo’s eyes widened in anger when the boy bumped into him. He put his hands on his torso and spun around. “Can you watch where you’re going?!” he snapped.

Oscar walked through the hallway, looking around curiously. Suddenly, he bumped into someone. “Ouchie!” he said, rubbing his head.

“Bye-a, Trick!” Oscar called, waving his hand as Trick walked away. Oscar didn’t mind being alone. In fact, he was a little excited. Now he could explore the school by himself. With a bright smile, he turned and headed down the hallway.

“For fuck’s sake…” He let out a sigh, “Sorry, Oscar, I’ll try to catch up with you later, pal.” With no other choice, Trick left Oscar alone in the hallway.

“I— I don’t know! Don’t shoot the messenger!” Butters panicked, “He just seemed real angry with you so you better get over there quick!”
