@Springfdtx is on scene working a multi-structure fire in the 23300 block of Kuykendahl. The fire originated in a RV, but spread to 3 conex boxes of fireworks near by. The fire traveled onto a railroad property and in a wooded area.

Final Update - 6 AM: The industrial fire that occurred last night at the LyondellBasell facility is out.
The scene was transitioned back to LyondellBasell between approximately 2:00–3:00 AM this morning. The main fire has been extinguished. Continue to expect activity in and around the facility.
The facility continues to manage the incident and Harris County Pollution Control has air monitors in place, with no actionable readings reported at this time. Harris County OEM remains in the LyondellBasell Emergency Operations Center and continues to serve as a point of coordination with the City of La Porte.
All City of La Porte emergency response resources returned to service around 2:00 AM. We appreciate the quick response of all emergency personnel involved.
The facility is still working to determine the cause of the incident.
This will be the final update from the City of La Porte unless significant developments occur.

Update 11:20 PM: Harris County Pollution Control is conducting air monitoring in the area surrounding the facility. No actionable readings have been detected at this time.
First responders remain on scene, and our office continues coordinating with the facility as crews work to bring the incident under control.
