The purpose of the kiosk was to facilitate on-the-spot opening of BSBDA / Zero Balance Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts and enrolment under the Government’s flagship social security schemes: PMJJBY and PMSBY. National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), a section 8 (Not for Profit) company promoted by RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and PFRDA, had hosted a financial education session for low income women at the venue in partnership with the IMC Ladies’ Wing.
