Alexander Dugin on Russian automobiles:
"I think I'm beginning to understand the problem with our automobile industry. This was prompted by Alain de Benoist's criticism of passenger cars. This type of transport embodies pure individualism. It is a metaphysical phenomenon. Russia can make spacecraft, trucks, tractors, buses, harvesters, cranes, and Oreshnik missiles, but it is unable to reach the level of personal passenger vehicles. Apparently, it's not just that Russia can't, Russia doesn't want to! And we shouldn't be forced into such perversions. We'll keep riding buses and harvesters. We can also use tanks."
