Hackney Council clearly aren't going to ask anyone to mark their homework ('F for Fail' IMO)

I've just come back from Amsterdam, a fantastic walking and cycling city. Anyone who says that there are too many pedestrians for cycle tracks clearly has absolutely no idea what they are talking about

Hackney Council have completely lost the plot when it comes to road schemes. Dangerous, lethal designs being pushed through by a few middle aged men who hate cycling. Children will have to continue cycling on the pavement and more deaths will occur as a direct result. Shameful.

Today HCC will present at a meeting of the Scrutiny Panel to argue for the Pembury Junction redesign decision to be referred to cabinet.
Of 260,000 people, just one 'Hackney resident' gets the same amount of time as HCC to espouse his discredited anti-cycling view: Vincent Stops.

Good job the council aren't intent on wasting £19m on keeping it a multi lane junction where motor traffic dominates and providing zero infrastructure for anyone cycling then!

It reminds me of the time Hackney Councils scrutiny commission met to discuss the use of segregated cycle lanes in the borough, they visited Waltham Forest but didn't contact @Labourstone or the designers, they just had Councillor Vincent Stops do a "balanced tour"

How odd that the designers of Hackney Councils lethal Pembury Junction design, who talk about the "problems" of cycle tracks in council consultation drop ins, would invite the one resident out of 260k who shares their views and amplifies them as much as possible.

Currently tucking into pepper and beer flavoured cheese that I bought directly from the cheese farm who produced it in Texel in the Netherlands back in June. I then brought it back to l London on my bicycle via several other provinces. Makes it tastes nicer I think 😀
