👋 Meet Angela Arnold – our Crisis Intervention Coordinator. This new role – the first of its kind to be established in Ontario – is a more proactive approach to Victim Services, where Angela monitors active calls and dispatches herself to scenes where people are likely to be experiencing significant trauma. Compared to our Service’s previous method of asking victims if they require the support of Victim Services, this new approach allows Angela to quickly show up and offer victims the right help at the right time. 🎥 Watch the full video to learn more.

Our Service proudly welcomed MP @SimaAcan and MP Jenna Sudds to our Headquarters for a tour, showcasing the many ways we use cutting-edge, innovative technology on the frontlines and behind the scenes to protect #Halton. During the tour, the MPs: 📲 Received a live demonstration of SARA AI – our Smart Answering Routing Assistant that fields non-emergency inquiries, allowing our human Communicators time to focus their attention on priority 9-1-1 emergency calls across the region; 🚓 Explored our armoured vehicles and high-tech gadgets; and 🔎 Tested out our night vision binoculars.
