I’m just watching #DirtyBusiness on @Channe4 and I’m just heartbroken for Heather Preen and her family. I’m in absolute tears. I will continue to campaign on this topic I promise. It is a national outrage the water companies must be held accountable. #SewageScandal

I’m honestly shaken reading this. Joshua Orta, the only eyewitness to Ruben Ray Martinez’s fatal ICE shooting, died over the weekend in a separate car crash before he could formally sign his statement. His account contradicted DHS’s version of events. This is heartbreaking. And it makes transparency in this case even more urgent. newsweek.com/ruben-ray-mart…

🇮🇹🇺🇦🇷🇺
This is the speech Italy heard. And the world should hear it too.
In a country preparing to host the Olympic Games, Italian Senator and Vice President of the Human Rights Commission Filippo Sensi stood up and said what many had been thinking. He called it a disgrace that the International Olympic Committee disqualified Ukrainian skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych.
Not for doping.
Not for breaking the rules of competition.
But for memory.
His helmet carried the faces of Ukrainian athletes, friends and colleagues, killed in Russia’s war. The IOC ruled that it did not comply with regulations.
Sensi responded with a question that cut through the chamber. Does aggressive war comply with regulations? Is there a technical standard for missile strikes? A permitted diameter for craters?
A Ukrainian athlete trains for years. Often between air raid sirens. In shelters. With news of fallen teammates echoing in the background. He steps to the start not only chasing a medal, but defending his right to exist. And he is suspended for remembering.
Because memory unsettles. It refuses to disappear quietly.
The senator named just a few of more than 650 Ukrainian athletes killed since the invasion. Yevhenii Malyshev, 19, biathlete. Mariia Lebid, 15. Dmytro Sharpar, 25, figure skater. Volodymyr Androsiuk, 22. Daria Kurdel, 20. Alina Perehutova, 14. Maksym Halinichev, 22. Viktoriia Ivashko, 9. Kateryna Diachenko, 11. Karina Bakur, 17.
These were the faces Heraskevych wanted beside him at the start line. So their dreams would not vanish with them.
For that, he was sanctioned.
Sensi’s conclusion was stark. The Olympic Committee did not lose an athlete. It lost something far more precious. Its conscience.
Sport without memory becomes spectacle. Sport without humanity becomes decoration. And sport that fears truth drifts far from its founding ideals of dignity and unity.
If remembering the fallen becomes a violation, then the issue is not a helmet.
Silence is a position. Indifference is a choice.
Memory cannot be disqualified. And conscience cannot be placed on any banned list.
🇺🇦 We remember them. And their names will not be erased.

Picture this: it’s October 3, 2026 – one month before Election Day.
The MEGA Act passed. You’re kicked off the voter rolls. You try to re-register so you can vote, but run into problems:
1. due to the SAVE Act, you need a specific gov't document – there’s no time to get one
2. your local election office is overwhelmed – DOJ-driven voter purges forced thousands to re-register
3. it’s past your state’s voter registration deadline
These are bills Congress is considering. The House passed the SAVE Act last night.
Call your Senators. Tell them to vote NO: (202) 224-3121

The DOJ plans to analyze states’ voter files and then tell states which voters to remove. (Brennan Center)

ICYMI, because you probably did: Remember that half a billion dollars of oil we stole from Venezuela?
Well, Trump took it, then sold it, then gave Venezuela 300 million of it, and the other 200 million...got parked in a private bank account in Qatar.
Here's Marco Rubio testifying before Shaheen, who wants to know where that 200 million dollars is. Rubio starts by claiming that "eventually", it will be moved into the Treasury, but then back tracks and says that the Treasury will one day be able to "audit" where it went - at taxpayer expense - using an auditor that Trump deems acceptable for the Treasury to use to audit the spending of the money.
Trump stole 200 million dollars and parked it in the Middle East so that he could keep it from taxpayers.

Well this sucks...
Senator Katie Britt just disclosed a purchase of JP Morgan $JPM while sitting on the Senate Banking committee
$JPM is up now up 27% since her purchase
But the worst part is you couldn't have even followed this.
Because she violated the STOCK Act by disclosing this trade hundreds days late
Her fine? $200
Less than the price of a speeding ticket in most states.
