Many of us forget that despite their wealth, most GCC states are fairly young. Bahrain, UAE, and Qatar were founded in 1971. Never studied their history to the extent to understand why Saudi didn’t establish its dominion over these statelets? I will be reading up about it now. However, the point I wanted to make was that they are still young and therefore their defense needs a LOT of work.

You really think Pakistan will be asking the Saudis to fight for us? The Saudis are there to ensure our energy needs are met in war time. Similarly, Saudis don’t need Pakistanis to fight for them. They have an extremely capable air force and military.

I am honestly surprised that none of the GCC states have signed a defense deal with China even now? This was the time to do it. You will send signals to everyone and quite literally set the cat among the pigeons.

It’s the biggest favor America will do to the region. I hope the Saudis start redeveloping their Air Force with Chinese jets. Saudi Air Force is heavily dependent on the US. And the U.S. has done nothing for them to even match Israel’s aerial superiority. Pak can help them phase out quickly.

Israel kept coming back for Iran. Failed every time until they were finally able to pull the Americans in. Iran is forgetting how the Arabs kept the U.S. out of Israel’s plans for over a year. Eventually Israel has its way. And this time Israel with the help of the U.S. is going all in. This is why I have been warning that India will come back for another round. They are just waiting for geopolitical events to fall in their favor before they make their move. They too would really want to pull the Americans in like Israel did. Obviously that won’t be easy for many reasons (besides the obvious nukes): 1- Pakistan is conventionally a capable fighting force 2- China is right next door 3- Pakistan’s pact with Saudi will act like a soft pressure on India 4- Pakistan has good & cordial relations with the U.S. & Europe 5- Türkiye being part of NATO helps us 6- India doesn’t have the kind of leverage in Washington as “Phadarland” does (yet) But things can change very fast as we have seen in these past few months. It is only the wisdom of our military and political leadership that we have thrived in this hostile environment. We all should double down on our prayers because the enemy is plotting.
