Per NBC, the USA vs Canada gold medal game set a new record as the most-watched women’s hockey game ever. The broadcast averaged 5.3 million viewers and peaked at 7.7 million during overtime.

Congratulations to @ratt26, on her induction into the Clarkson Athletics Hall of Fame today! 🏆 JLR is the first member of the HoF from Clarkson’s Division I era. In 2014, she led the Golden Knights to the Division I National Championship, won nearly every award possible — including the Patty Kazmaier Memorial award — led the country in points (66; 29 goals and 37 assists), and finished the year as Clarkson’s all-time leading scorer (since surpassed).
