Had a fantastic and productive trip in Korea. There was such a postive energy there, with deep support from the Blue House and large enterprises and financial institutions committed to building on crypto. The pitch of IOTA, with our key focus of establishing a global trade infrastructure with TWIN, is a key differentiator to all the other projects. We are helping crypto move past the speculative bubble towards real world adoption. We have a deep commitment to Korea and will move forward to connect the country onchain and bring forth a new wave of crypto adoption and acceptance. You can expect a lot more news in coming months. Traceability spans the entire lifecycle, from the olive grove (location, variety, soil, climate, costs), through mill processing, quality control, packaging, distribution, all the way to retail, including final price and commercial margin. 🔹 This is a technical pilot where every stage of the product is recorded on-chain as a verifiable object, transferable across supply-chain actors. It is an institutional, consortium-driven pilot, designed for traceability, compliance, and export, with costs and prices denominated in the Moroccan dirham (MAD). The underlying message — for both traditional finance and crypto — is simple: the network is already operating with real-world projects, outside the usual IF pipelines and far from hype, where decentralization begins at the level of product usage and development, not speculation. 💥 Adoption won’t be announced. We’re going live in one of the UK’s first real-world environments for testing and deploying digital trade solutions at @TeessideUni’s Digital Trade Testbed – tracking real shipments using @TWINGlobalOrg technology built on IOTA.

What started out as a small pilot with a few thousand consignments, is now growing to a larger testbed across the UK 🇬🇧 We are bringing the real world onchain to IOTA, step by step. Through our work together with the UK Cabinet Office and Teesside University, we have proven that crucial data can be accessed 20 hours earlier. Now we are scaling up the effort as part of the Tesside Digital Trade Testbed. The impact of digitizing trade is enormous: "According to ICC UK's Roadmap to Digitalise UK Trade, full digitalization could deliver £25 billion in trade growth and £224 billion in efficiency savings, with a 35% efficiency gain for SMEs." What should we really expect from IOTA in February and March? 👀 🇰🇷 Korea, full throttle since January. IOTA is already live on Bithumb Global, and February brings direct exposure in Korea with key appearances at the World Crypto Forum Korea. This is where narratives are built and momentum starts. Before anyone says it: this is not noise. This is a market where IOTA has historically seen real traction. 🇺🇸 Finally, a new U.S. exchange. In Q1, a regulated U.S. exchange will list IOTA (late February, early March). It won’t be Coinbase. It won’t be Robinhood. The Trade Worldwide Information Network (TWIN) is an open architecture for digitising and verifying trade documents on IOTA, designed to support real-world commerce at scale. TWIN underpins global digital trade initiatives, including collaboration frameworks with AfCFTA via ADAPT, involving public institutions and international partners. These are the document groups that can be registered and verified on the network 👇 🔹 Trade documents Commercial Invoice, Import Declaration, Export Declaration, Bill of Lading / Electronic Bill of Lading. They form the contractual, customs and transport backbone of any trade operation. 🔹 Product & trade certificates Product Certificates linked to goods and consignments.
