It gets even better when we finally get to our destination our bags didn’t arrive. Not only did we lose a day on our trip we had no fucken clothes. When we got our bags 4 days later. My hat was gone and our luggage case was dented to shit.

@WestJet abysmal service. Cancelled the 8:00am flight but not the 7:00am or 9am flights. Got on the 12:30 flight but didn’t board until 1:00 and then it gets better you kept us cramped in those garbage seats for 4.5 hours while you loaded the luggage.

@WestJet what’s the point of charging $116.00 for a seat upgrade? Like somehow you don’t make enough money off the customer for carry ons/luggage? It’s become absurd, the prices you charge! It’s no wonder I choose a USA carrier! You don’t deserve the customers you have had!!!!

@WestJet landed in Cuba via Westjet Waited for luggage Carousel stopped and attendee said there was no more luggage There were about 15 people missing luggage from a direct flight to varadero Luckily I spoke Spanish and lit the luggage attendant and I said I know you’re trying to steal our luggage and you better send it out or I’m going back there to get it People started saying they’re never coming back to Cuba and getting ruly 5 minutes later the carousel started back up and our luggage came out This is bs And west jet needs to do better and ensure people aren’t getting robbed on their flights

@darcychalifoux @WestJet WestJet’s awful management has cut back ground staffing levels for baggage and customer service and it’s making for a terrible customer experience. WestJet has eroded into an airline charging full service pricing with low cost carrier service. Worst of both worlds.

In November 2022, I was subpoenaed to testify at the Public Order Emergency Commission about what I witnessed on the ground during the convoy protests and the government’s response. Yesterday, the Federal Court of Appeal did what the Commission ultimately did not: it applied the law without deference to politics. The Court held that the Emergencies Act was invoked unlawfully and that fundamental Charter rights were breached. That finding matters. It represents a meaningful measure of vindication for convoy leaders who were cast as national security threats, when in fact it was the government that had crossed legal and constitutional lines.
