We built a browser with GPT-5.2 in Cursor. It ran uninterrupted for one week. It's 3M+ lines of code across thousands of files. The rendering engine is from-scratch in Rust with HTML parsing, CSS cascade, layout, text shaping, paint, and a custom JS VM. It *kind of* works! It still has issues and is of course very far from Webkit/Chromium parity, but we were astonished that simple websites render quickly and largely correctly.

GPT-5.2 Codex is now available in Cursor! We believe it's the frontier model for long-running tasks.

@kevinweil How many lines did it need to rewrite? Spent most of the last two hours getting Opus 4.5 to remove latency in playing back a short audio clip and matching the playhead to it on the screen. I still love it, though!

Boot-strapped startups have a HUGE ADVANTAGE over VC-funded startups VC-funded startups have a lot of pressure to hire "human talent" and continue to use the human in the loop The boot-strapped startups, on the other hand, need to use AI to build, test, and iterate In the long run, the bootstrapped ones will be far more efficient and successful

@bindureddy Nah, it is good, but not AGI. And made some curiously odd mistakes reminiscent of Sonnet 3.5 last night.

Things change EXTREMELY RAPIDLY in AI Everyone couldn’t stop talking about OpenAI just a couple of months ago Then for a couple of weeks, Gemini 3.0 was king Now it’s non-stop Opus 4.5 and how it’s literally AGI 🤯
