Is there any country on earth that celebrates rapists on national TV like Israel? The rapists have been receiving overwhelming support from the gov, MPs, religious leaders… they all walked free, despite raping their victim on camera so violently until his intestines exploded!
Max Blumenthal@MaxBlumenthal

Here’s Meir Shitrit, who raped a Palestinian detainee on camera, being trotted out as a hero on Israeli national TV Israeli reservists staged riots in his defense, and the lawyer who tried to prosecute him is now under house arrest The sickest society

Trump’s White House keeps rolling out these videos where they are comparing the atrocities of war to casual things like video games, baseball, and now bowling. This is intentional and their propaganda strategy. The goal is to desensitize the public to the horrors of war. They want you to think it’s “normal” that they’re bombing another country to death. There is nothing normal or ok about bombing elementary schools and mass murdering civilian populations. Our government IS the terrorist.

It’s incredible that Democrats think the appropriate measure of accountability for someone authorizing the killing of 168 schoolchildren is getting fired.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

NEWS: The Trump administration confirmed it bombed a girl’s school in Iran. It's one of the most devastating military errors in decades. Trump lied about it. Pete Hegseth gutted the office preventing civilian casualties. 175 are dead. Most were kids. Hegseth should be fired.

Just so that we are clear, Israel drops criminal charges on five Israeli soldiers who were caught on camera sexually assaulting a Palestinian detainee. But Israel will keep kids in prison for decades because they were throwing rocks? Make it make sense 🤦🏽‍♀️

Remember when ISIS destroyed Palmyra? it was called it barbarism. When the Taliban destroyed the Buddhas of Bamiyan, UNESCO called it a crime against civilization. When Russia hit Ukrainian heritage sites, every Western leader condemned it within hours. Isfahan has stood since 1598. One of the most beautiful cities ever built by human hands. Baalbek's temples have stood for 2,000 years. Persepolis was built in 515 BC, before Rome, before Athens' golden age, before Alexander. Today they're being damaged by American and Israeli bombs. The same world that wept for Palmyra is silent for Persepolis. The same leaders who called the Bamiyan destruction "a crime against all humanity" have nothing to say about Isfahan When brown people destroy heritage, it's barbarism. When Western allies do it, it's just collateral damage. 2,500 years of Persian civilization. And the world watches in silence because the bombs have American flags on them.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi@araghchi

Israel is bombing Iranian historical monuments dating as far back as the 14th century. Multiple UNESCO World Heritage Sites have been struck. It's natural that a regime that won't last a century hates nations with ancient pasts. But where's UNESCO? Its silence is unacceptable.

I know the news cycle has no mercy, but if we can move so quickly past the fact that the United States and Israel detonated ten million barrels of oil over the skies of Tehran poisoning eleven million people with acid rain and apocolypic clouds of petrochemicals unleashing a lifetime of cancer and respiratory distress on at least three generations to come. HOLY F@$KING HELL!!!!!!!! America wake the hell UP! God have mercy on us for the horrific evils done in our name and with our tax dollars. And now our young men and women are dying for Israel? You've got to be f@%king kidding me!?

I’m very proud that today I distributed 3,000 liters of fresh water to a very marginalized camp on the seashore that suffers from a severe shortage of water. I’m truly very exhausted. This is not easy. I need your support, even if it’s just a kind word.

🚨BREAKING: DHS agents are now illegally arresting U.S. citizens at airports… and trafficking them across state lines. A 28-year-old U.S. citizen, Sunny Naqvi, was detained by DHS, for 43 hours, after landing at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. She wasn’t charged with a crime, and she wasn’t accused of doing anything illegal… Agents reportedly detained her over what they called a “curious travel history.” Even though Sunny was born in Illinois…they still disappeared her. After being held for about 30 hours inside the airport, agents secretly moved Sunny to an ICE detention facility in Broadview, Illinois. While this was happening, federal agents repeatedly told her family she was NOT in custody, even though her phone location showed she was inside the facility. Then it gets worse. According to witnesses, agents asked for Sunny’s phone number so they could “look for her phone.” Minutes later, the phone was opened, her messages were read, and the device was shut off, cutting off the family’s ability to track her. After that, agents transported the U.S. citizen across state lines, to another detention facility in Dodge County, Wisconsin. And then she was eventually released early Saturday morning… in a random state, alone. Her phone was dead, and she had no transportation. So, a U.S. citizen detained by the federal government had to hitchhike to a hotel, just to be able to reunite with her family. And this is what people need to understand… When federal agents can detain U.S. citizens without charges… lie to families about their custody, search personal phones, and secretly transport people across state lines… That puts every single American in danger. Because they can do it to anyone.

The only reason to bomb anything 40 min apart is to kill the rescuers. Doing that to an elementary school is beyond depraved. The United States is the most evil entity on the planet
Ben Norton@BenjaminNorton

Reuters confirmed that the elementary school in the Iranian city of Minab was bombed TWICE by the US military, 40 minutes apart. This was intentional. You don't "accidentally" bomb a school TWO TIMES. 168 children and 14 teachers were killed. It was a massacre.

I am now sitting on the ruins of my home… and in my hand is a book I pulled from beneath the rubble. Among these stones was my life. Here was my library, and here I used to sit, reading quietly and dreaming about the future. Today nothing remains of the house except the rubble, but this book remains as a witness that in this place there once lived a person who loved knowledge and life. Perhaps they destroyed the walls, but they could not bury my dream beneath this rubble…

I have seen this picture cross my feed many times, and every single time it pulls me up short. His little blue lunchbox, the sneakers that are probably a tad too big because he would grow into them, the straps for his glasses so that he didn’t lose them, his checkered shirt that his little hands might have stumbled over in trying to make sure he got every button right, or perhaps his mother bent down to help him with; his mother who he waves goodbye to, who he loved and who loved him so deeply.
