💔💔URGENT APPEAL💔💔 Two gorgeous young pointer girls, were dumped today at the pound, no longer wanted or cared for, left with an uncertain future💔 They are just young, one is approx 1 year old and the other a little younger approx 7/8 months 💔 Their fate to end up in general population with so many dogs and with distemper rife at the moment they just wouldn’t stand a chance💔 They are gorgeous; one brown and one black, they are not a breed we have much experience with rehoming but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve to have a future. We have already got them disease tested and one is being spayed but we need to raise funds now to cover these costs. We would love to take them to the shelter but we can not do that unless we can raise the costs for them❤️‍🩹 Please if anyone can help with a donation to help these two girls please use ... 💔💔THIS MORNING IN DUBLIN CITY CENTRE 💔 An innocent little mule was found tied to a fence, hidden behind flats in the heart of Dublin City. No water. No shelter. No care. He just stood there… confused, alone, and completely dependent on someone who failed him. Thanks to a kind member of the public who spoke up, and the quick response from the An Garda Síochána, this little boy is now safe. But the question is, how many others are suffering unseen? This is not okay. This shouldn’t be normal. And this cannot continue. Mules are intelligent, emotional animals. They feel fear, loneliness, and pain just like any other. For so long I wanted to share this beautiful update on Willi… but the days have been overwhelming. Many of you saw Willi crying for his mother… going from one donkey to another, searching, hoping someone would love him. And now… he has found her. Maya… our very old, fragile mother… who already has her own baby Meeko… opened her heart and took Willi in as her own. Today, we see Willi resting beside Maya… safe, loved, and no longer searching. Today's Feelgood Story 🐶❤️. When Sage the Labrador disappeared from her garden in a rural neighbourhood in the Santa Cruz Mountains in 2017, her devastated family held little hope of finding her alive. At 12 years old and completely blind, Sage wouldn’t cope well out in the wilds of California all alone. Nevertheless, the Cole family and their friends and neighbours keep searching for her, putting posters up and spreading her photographs on social media. After Sage had been missing for seven full days, her family were slowly starting to accept that they may never see her again – and then something amazing happened. Dan Estrada, a neighbour of the family, was out on a hike, and spotted Sage laying by a stream at base of a steep slope in the mud. He assumed the dog was dead; she looked completely lifeless. Nevertheless, he jumped into the stream to get her, and was shocked to see Sage lift up her head to him wearily! Hero Dan even refused the $1000 reward Sage’s family had put up, insisting it be donated to a local animal rescue charity instead. Sage fully recovered. Thank you for caring Dan 🙏. 🏡Urgent Appeal - Pippa Needs A Permanent Foster Home In #Pembrokeshire #Wales 🏡 Some of you may have already read Pippa’s story (see post below if you haven't👇). We’re so relieved to share that her surgery was a success, she is now back with us, resting & beginning her recovery 💔To recap, Pippa came to us as an unclaimed stray. She was found by a member of the public. Sadly, no one came forward to claim her. With no identification & nowhere to go, she entered our care once her stray period ended💔 🏥At first, it was believed she had a mammary infection & she was treated with antibiotics. However, her condition worsened. Further investigation revealed something far more serious — Pippa had a hernia, a large hole in her muscle wall that was allowing her internal organs to push through. She was rushed into surgery, where our vets performed life-saving treatment. While she was under anaesthetic, she was also neutered We also discovered that Pippa has mammary tumours. Due to the length & intensity of her surgery, this couldn’t be addressed at the same time. This is something we will be dealing with as soon as she is strong enough. After everything she’s been through, heartbreak and sadness, she still greets the world with a wagging tail.
