Hlas column: The journey really does matter more than the destination, and the people are more important than the scoreboard. A personal story as the final football game I cover at Kinnick Stadium for the Gazette nears. thegazette.com/sports/my-firs…

This is GLORIOUS
David Letterman & Stephen Colbert on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theatre bringing back the classic @Letterman routine one last time
This is how you go out, @StephenAtHome! 😂

Weird that @Lane_Kiffin never said a word about this while he was coaching at Ole Miss for 6 seasons….if Ole Miss is such a racist place, which it is, why not speak out about it while you were the highest paid employee there?
VANITY FAIR@VanityFair
In explaining his decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU, Lane Kiffin seems willing to invoke Ole Miss's struggle to distance itself from symbols like the Confederate flag, Colonel Rebel, and the nickname "Ole Miss" itself. When he was coaching there, Kiffin says, top recruits would tell him, “‘Hey, coach, we really like you. But my grandparents aren’t letting me move to Oxford, Mississippi.’ That doesn’t come up when you say Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Parents were sitting here this weekend saying the campus’s diversity feels so great: ‘It feels like there’s no segregation’” vanityfair.com/news/story/lan…
