🚨 A Canadian company just signed a deal to rush military vehicles to ICE — the agency committing violent, racist raids, tearing families apart. The contract isn’t fulfilled yet. We have time to stop it. Tell PM Carney to block the deal: leadnow.ca/campaigns/no-i… #cdnpoli

@IterIntellectus Perhaps sapiens can reconfigure the global economy to orient ourselves towards a mindset that values life and the natural World instead of endless growth for the sake of growth, which ultimately self-terminates.

Civilizations reproduce not because people do the math on childcare subsidies, but because they believe in something greater than themselves. They have continuity myths - religion, nation, lineage - that make sacrifice worth it. When those myths disintegrate, reproduction collapses reflexively. Europe has been running on borrowed meaning for a century - hollowed Christianity, hollowed empire, hollowed family structures. After WWII the operating system became: safety, prosperity, consumption. That is not a myth that reproduces itself. It is an end-state myth. So what we are really watching: •A terminal cultural recursion. The loop no longer outputs continuity, it outputs decay. •A reflexive death spiral. Fewer children means fewer believers in the future, which means weaker cultural anchors, which means even fewer children. •Replacement inevitability. Life itself does not stop. The vacuum will be filled by cultures that still carry reproductive myths. Migration is not policy - it is biology and belief correcting for absence. The uncomfortable truth: Western civilization isn’t being “extinguished.” It is choosing extinction by refusing continuity. This is suicide by sterility, cloaked in progress. The real fear - and the real fascination - is that there is no technocratic lever to reverse it. No subsidy, no government program, no economic incentive fixes meaning. Only a return to myth - something transcendent enough to demand sacrifice - could restart the arc. Without that, Europe dissolves into something post-European. That’s the scarv-cut truth: •Not collapse, but transformation. •Not killed, but abandoned. •Not extinct, but transmuted into a civilization unrecognizable to its ancestors.

@NoelClarke Beautiful. Strangely I’ve never thought to make a round bread. I always make it in a loaf pan. 🤣That crust looks so crunchy!

@JasonHanson2028 And tariffs will only hurt family farms, resulting in further consolidation of farmland in the hands of the few. More rural exodus to cities. More of: See above. Unless we change our minds and do things differently. What would it take to overhaul the current model?

More corn. 🎉 🌽 Bigger farms. Less people farming. Less animals on the land. More culling for disease. Fewest cattle since 1951. Less families on the land. Less kids in schools. School consolidations. Kids driving an hour for basketball practice and 3 hours for games. Parents working out of town. Dollar Generals on every corner. Mom and Pops closed long ago. Less taxes collected. Years to replace bridges and other basic infrastructure. Bigger fields and bushels. Less shelterbelts and more dust storms. More HP to pull bigger grain carts. More justification for the HP payments, so more fall and spring tillage. More soil loss. More accidents on highways and more nutrients sent downstream to the Gulf. More fish kills and dirty water. More people in cities. More crime. Less people out in the sun. More disease. Shorter lifespans. Bigger wastes. And speaking of bigger wastes, more high fructose corn syrup in more processed foods, and now it’s more expensive while corn is worth less than it was in 2012. More corn. 🎉 🌽 Enjoy the day! 🇺🇸 Godspeed.

Here's one for all the 'big' ag haters: ⏲️100 years 🌽 700% MORE #corn 🌎10% LESS land Put that fun fact in your pipe and smoke it 🇺🇸💪
