Inspired by some tweets this week I had a try at baking my first corned beef pie. Served with Branston pickle, carrot and swede mash, and romaine lettuce.

At Wine Depot, Suk 22 for dinner and it’s now raining so hard it’s becoming Khlong 22 😂. It might just need to be a second bottle wine 🍷

Home cooking tonight for dinner, and Italian rather than Thai! Of course, an excuse to open a bottle of Merlot to help things along🍷🍝

How the screaming hot riff of “Soldier In The Army Of Love” came to be. Featuring the rising riff master himself, my son Roman.

Some of these companies be like $42k and the health insurance premium is $200 per paycheck and you don’t get 401k match until 5 years of service but there’s free lunch on Mondays!

An Australian man called Don Ritchie, lived the across street from the most famous suicide hotspot in Australia known as "the gap". He lived there for almost 50 years and during that time he saved at least 160 from committing suicide by striking up a conversation with them and then inviting them into his home for tea. In 2006, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his rescues, the official citation being for "service to the community through programs to prevent suicide". Ritchie died on 13 May 2012, at the age of 85.

I don’t agree with censorship, but that video going viral of the man being eaten alive by a shark was horrific, and not something I can now unsee.
