Two main takeaways: 1. IPAS is primarily an Unproductive Wealth Extraction Mechanism (UWEM) to channel public money to cronies and client groups. 2. Other public spending functions in a similar way. For example, the amounts of overspend on infrastructure projects and the proliferation of charities who primarily draw salaries to look after a relative handful of people who are homeless.

Jim O'Callaghan is the extremist. All recent major polls show more than 70% of Irish people have had enough of mass immigration. In the course of two decades Ireland went from virtually homogenous to 25% of all residents born elsewhere. The political class are so disconnected from the electorate thanks to the NGO and media wedge between them and the public that he thinks he's a centrist. Ireland has been hijacked and the political class are happy hostages in a self-built bubble. It's time to: Remove public funding from the national media. Remove public funding from Social Justice Theory-driven NGOs. Remove activist professors from Irish universities.
