@howldarling I'll let you know, fs! Yk, I was thinking on going the ipad route too but I decided maybe going for a little more of a steadier tablet first before getting a tablet that's way more expensive lol maybe in the future though xD

Genuine question to all artists: What brand do you mostly recommend for art tablets w/ a screen and why? Huion or XPPen? Asking because I'm still deciding between the two,, ^^"

@howldarling Oh yeah 100%, and they're stuff lasts for a long time as well, according to a friend of mine who has a huion tablet lol very promising

@ZeenaDrawz WHAT.....I just....wow yeah thats a deal breaker, im surprised more people havent complained. Yeah def no xp pen, i learned the hard way lol Huion is around the same price but i think better quality imo, but get a protection plan on it just in case you have driver issues, etc lol

@howldarling The worst thing is, XPPen doesn't plan on updating the tablet's OS. It's stuck as Android OS 12, and most apps nowadays need Android 14 and up.. 💀

@ZeenaDrawz I would never recommend anyone get that brand again lol Like I may go w Huion again, just because I do miss the feel of a bigger screen and drawing on pc, but I may just get another ipad w a bigger screen and extra storage, just..really need a bigger screen and external hotkeys

@ZeenaDrawz -does it just suddenly stop working one day when I plug it back into my pc? screen doesnt boot up or nothing, its not damaged. cant download older drivers, rendering it useless. I just donated a $300 something tablet bc it wasnt worth trying to sell (and ive been trying to).

@ZeenaDrawz yeah it gets to be a little discouraging, and on top of just being busy with life and people's own groups of friends, I get it :') But yeah same here! I'm out of the loop bc of the whole no interaction thing so I have no reason to be here and I have like 3 other accts lol

@howldarling It's insane how only a small amount of people interact, while most who follow don't take the time to even check what's new 😭 I need to catch up with you and a few others' stuff, I've been out of the loop cause of the heat over here LOL

@howldarling That's true, you do have a point, but at the same time, the staff did recently change a lot of the rules and yet..the one here just makes no sense.. I could be wrong, but even then, stuff like these are meant to be used as references,,
