FR season wrapped at McCook College (NE) for Yoshimura. Someone still say Japanese players are small or lack power — but they can play. I’m focused on putting guys in spots where they get real playing time and compete at an all-conference level.

The Cannons are excited to welcome back another former Cannon and Former @VBLBaseball North Division MVP, @Shintaro0618_11 of @KStateBSB . The Middle Infielder played in Purcellville during the 2024 season and Hit 7 HRs while driving in a league best 37 RBI. Since then, Shintaro has been a force for KState at the plate. He is currently hitting .309 with 6HRs and 14 Doubles. He provides the ability to change any game with one swing of the bat. Welcome Back to the Cannons and Purcellville Shin!! The next returner to the Cannons is RHP @sotainden. This will be Sota's 4th season in the Maroon and White Pinstripes of the Cannons. The Kanagawa, Japan native looks to bring his wealth of Valley League experience to the Pitching rotation of the Cannons. @iaabaseball

RHP Shogo Miyauchi intends to pursue a career in the United States. The 6-foot-4 tall 18-year-old was eligible for the 2025 NPB Draft but did not declare. He reportedly wants to sign with an MLB organization but would also consider the NCAA route. news.yahoo.co.jp/articles/e64e5…
