@mickwright Mr. Richmond, upon accepting the position then threatened people in the auditorium. Isn't that grounds for termination?

Rod Richmond’s second breach of board ethics policy came later the same day, in a message to the media. According to the Commercial Appeal, the same evening he was appointed interim superintendent, Richmond released a statement distributed by a public relations firm, the Carter Malone Group. “I am surprised yet honored to be offered this opportunity,” Richmond said in the statement. But Richmond was not surprised by the appointment, at all. That was a lie, his second violation of board policy, further necessitating his immediate termination and replacement. Exhibit A. Rod Richmond was ready with a prepared statement for media. Exhibit B. Rod Richmond was interested in the job, having applied for it during the search process. Exhibit C. Rod Richmond was included in a highly publicized survey asking principals who they supported for the interim appointment and was reported to be the candidate with the largest plurality of support. Exhibit D. Rod Richmond was the first nominee out of the gate, nominated by a school board member the chair was already looking at in advance. Exhibit E. Rod Richmond became the one and only nominee after Dr. Angela Whitelaw withdrew herself by READING FROM A PREPARED SCRIPT. Exhibit F. The entire nomination and selection process was completed by the board in mere minutes, without discussion. Exhibit G. Statements such as “Rod Richmond is qualified and ready” were circulating among his colleagues on social media as early as December 16. Exhibit H. Rod Richmond’s biography was pre-written and prepared by news reporters and published within minutes of his selection.

@SCSSuptRay You kept teachers and students out of class far too long and the damage done as a result of YOUR refusal to get kids back in class is unforgiving. Under YOUR "leadership" kids in Shelby County Schools failed and were set back years. So don't tell anyone what is best for teachers!

@WMCActionNews5 Lyin' Steve Mulroy needed a distraction yesterday when the news broke that his office lied about "fighting for a higher bail" during the hearing and ROR by Christopher Imgram. Indeed the audio of that hearing proves the prosecution was "fine" with same or lower bail. TERRIBLE

@mamio3 @Sean904930194 @3onyourside let it be known, Bill Anderson Jr. is oversees the judicial commissioners and said on March 6th before County Commission that he's not happy with low rate of ROR's. He has said publicly that he "detests" bondsman and says ROR should be the 1st consideration

🚨But for the Bail Hearing Room, Defendant Jaylen Lobley would be behind bars. I asked my staff to research any previous court proceedings regarding the suspects in the shooting of MPD Officer McKinney. Below is the timeline of arrest and bail setting for Defendant Jaylen Lobley.

@Steinernomics UNLESS government CUTS spending, the money that was coming in from loans and used in the budget, that income for budgeted expenditures will have to be made up somewhere else.... i.e. more taxes for you and me. "forgiven loans" DOES effect tax paying Americans.

When a student loan is canceled, Treasury stops collecting principal & interest on it. That’s it. Nothing else happens and it has no discernible effect on anyone other than the borrower having more money to spend, save or invest. NO ONE ELSE PAYS FOR IT. Not you. Not me. NO ONE.

Donald Trump doesn’t have a “messaging” problem on reproductive freedom—he has a REALITY problem. He overturned Roe. He is responsible for the horrifying state of abortion rights in America. And this November, the American people will vote accordingly.
Headquarters@HQNewsNow

Sen. @ewarren: Donald Trump overturned Roe. Since then, Republican-led legislatures and governors have tried to deny access to abortion. This latest ban in Florida is so early, most women wouldn't even know they're pregnant yet. Trump created that. Abortion will be on the ballot
