@copinotcool I’m not really a fan of dandy’s world but I really love bassie and i’ve just been seeing this everywhere.. I wish people would stop jumping shit like this when there are genuine whitewashing in other works that they don’t open their mouths about😓

Am i the only one who doesn't like when just bcuz a character has brown color/fur it NEEDS to be black or have a darker skin tone

@copinotcool clearly shows they did their research because they connected the bobbons to the french, which is something i didn’t even know originated there! i think people are just going about this in a very hostile matter for a non-canonical race..

@copinotcool I think it is fair to want representation, but at the same time with how this has been playing out, people are trying to erase/ put down another poc… which is also racist. it is very common for animals with furr to not share the same skin color as the fur! the og artist-
