Water is life! The next generation of extractive industries and pollution is here to threaten water on a global scale. AI Data Centers are being fast tracked in communities labeled "water-abundant," despite the fact they are already facing drought conditions. Moratoriums against AI Data Centers continue to be put in place, but a lot of work is left to do. Part of that work we are highlighting this World Water Day comes from Jordan Harmon, Policy Analyst/Legislative Advocate at IEN, and Mackenzie Roberts, Stop Data Colonialism Coalition Co-Coordinator, two women from the Muscogee Nation. #WaterIsLife #WorldWaterDay

This Spring Equinox we celebrate the season of renewal and change. We celebrate what Mother Earth's continuous cycle of life means for all of us, during these difficult times as we face threats from the next iteration of extractive industries. #DefendTheSacred #SpringEquinox

IEN invites you to gather & bear witness to the state killings of two community members in Minnesota, Renée Good & Alex Pretti. We continue calls for the arrest of the ICE officers who shot and killed Ms. Good & Alex Pretti. We need independent, full and fair investigations of their killings, a recall of ICE from American cities and an end to the wearing of all masks by any law enforcement officers patrolling American streets, neighborhoods, and communities. The Trump regime refuses any independent investigations, continuing to deny justice for the families of Renée and Alex. In these times it is important to come together in defense of the +35,000 American Indians living in the twin cities, thousands of Indigenous Peoples migrating from around the world, and the diverse working class communities residing in Mni Sóta Makoce. #DefendTheSacred

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as his core belief was that we could create a just and fair future for all. Dr. King believed true freedom required not only the end of racial segregation, but the dismantling of economic exploitation, militarism, and all systems that dehumanize people, grounded in the understanding that all humanity is morally interconnected. #DefendTheSacred #DrMartinLutherKingJr #HappyMartinLutherKingJrDay
