This executive order is unconstitutional and does not align with the values that have defined our nation as one of welcome and opportunity. It puts countless at risk of losing their status and benefits as American citizens, and possibly deportation.

Saynab reunited with her daughter Hayat after a decade of waiting; they are still waiting for more family members to come to the U.S. Many families like Saynab worry about the new administration pausing the refugee resettlement program, if not majorly restricting it.
