The Islamic Republic of #Iran extends its congratulations to the people and Government of the Republic of #Zimbabwe on its Independence Day. The mutual agenda of the two nations is to strengthen bilateral relations in all fields.

In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.

It is utterly abominable how policies that deliberately inflict pain and suffering on innocent people are presented with smug self-righteousness. This only reveals an inhumane mindset behind them. These are nothing short of economic terrorism and state-sponsored extortion — actions that amount to crimes against humanity and, in their cumulative effect, constitute genocide.

Homeland, for Iranians, is something far beyond a mere attachment to land and soil; it is a legacy as ancient as a civilization stretching back thousands of years, passed down from ancestors to their descendants. It is precisely this civilizational quality imbued with a spiritual essence that has caused all aggressors to ultimately regret their savage acts. This is how Iran has endured throughout history, and this is how it will continue to endure proudly. While U.S. authorities accuse Iran of lacking “good faith” and engaging in “extortion,” elements within the U.S. policy and media space are outright recommending the assassination of Iranian negotiators in the event that negotiations fail. Is this not, in effect, a policy discourse that normalizes extortion through the threat or public incitement of terror, violence, and manslaughter? This express public incitement for state terrorism must be denounced by all.

Two of the measures mutually agreed upon between the parties have yet to be implemented: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s blocked assets prior to the commencement of negotiations. These two matters must be fulfilled before negotiations begin.

Netanyahu's criminal trial resumes on Sun. A region-wide ceasefire, incl in Lebanon, would hasten his jailing. If the U S. wishes to crater its economy by letting Netanyahu kill diplomacy, that would ultimately be its choice. We think that would be dumb but are prepared for it.
