Experts from IRRI, Dr. Swati Nayak, Dr. Pallavi Sinha, Dr. Uma Maheshwar Singh, Dr. Ajay Panchbhai, and Dr. M. Ashraful Habib shared valuable experiences on how cutting-edge breeding technologies, regional seed-sharing mechanisms, and demand-driven breeding strategies are accelerating the development, testing, and adoption of improved rice varieties across countries in the Global South.
