@mikecommito I was there, covering the series for CBC Radio & was on air live doing a report into our 9pm national sportscast (yes did that back in the day) The Forum was so loud I couldn’t hear the intro from the anchor. So the producer yelled “GO!” down the phone line. What a night. 🏒🥊

@LawProfHolloway I agree and made sure we noted her passing on my News Network show this evening. She was a double medallist, at such a young age, when not a lot of Canadian athletes were winning Olympic medals.

The Guess Who wasn't just a great Canadian band. Their music, lyrics and performances make them one of the greatest rock bands, period. I got the terrific opportunity to watch Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman rehearse and interview them for tonight's National (and on YouTube).

Jim Robson was too busy caring for the game to have any regard for fame. Accuracy mattered more than a colourful style. His greatness was best measured by how obvious it was, to British Columbians, and to friends, colleagues and hockey fans everywhere.
