They fuckedup FSD v14.3. It misses exits and interchanges. looks like a regression in route planning and lane level prediction. It clearly detects exits but delays committing to the correct lane topology. At interchanges, hesitation is not caution, it is a failure to plan ahead.

@TommyThornton Tesla engineers didn’t know how to train the model with so many different types of input. That’s the only reason they scrapped them. Tesla ai incompetence.

At some point Tesla will be forced to add Lidar to future vehicles. The camera only system remains 'a driver assist' and will remain at Level 2 and never achieve Level 4 which is required for driverless taxi licenses in every state in the US
TalesFromTheFuture - now also on BSKY 🦋@talesftf

Remember when Musk (and then his Teslarian parrot army) claimed that LIDAR was too expensive in cars? “BYD launches new Seagull with LiDAR for $13,000, setting a first for entry-level EVs” Another BS Tesla myth busted. $TSLA $TSLAQ electrek.co/2026/05/12/byd…

@TailosiveEV I’d like a hybrid. Visualizer that is also the real map and if I interact with it then it behaves like regular maps and resume the visualization when I’m done interacting

I still find the visualizer pretty pointless. -If it’s unsupervised I’d rather be watching something. Why do I care how the car is rendering things? - If it’s supervised eyes should be on the road, only glancing for navigation and speed. It’s not relevant info
Lior@liorsela

A question for all Tesla owners: Full screen visualization or split screen? Full screen gives that immersive, futuristic and clean vibe, but split screen keeps the map handy with more information visible. What’s your go-to setting? Full screen 🖥️ or Split screen 🗺️

@oanaolt @NHTSAgov these federal regulations preventing remotely closing doors even with 360 visual feedback for cars is plain and simple OUTDATED. Same reason Tesla s and x cannot close their doors remotely without visual range.

Lol didn’t know Waymo’s are so resourceful I saw one displaying “Help close” on top I looked inside, no one!! I tried one of the doors, it was open, so I pushed it with strength. Waymo car did not say thank you but its light blinked and it took off The new version of help a ladybug that landed on its back lol

@ChuckCook @Tesla I Really just need FSD to respect my lane change request instead of canceling them. It’s driver assist but it doesn’t listen to the driver. @FCC

Its raining in Florida a lot these days. I am really looking forward to eventually getting the @Tesla Spring Software Update that improves the graphics to show the difference between rain and snow, and also changes the RADAR the timeline. FSD v14.3.2 has been fine, but I do agree with most, it wasn't an improvement over what we had before. The improved response time, while good for safety, wasn't smoothed out for comfort yet. Maybe we will get an FSD update soon that merges the Spring Update improvements. Feels about time to me.

@MissJilianne I’m contemplating this as well for our new-to-us X Plaid. It is a ‘23 so we missed the new sporty seats. EVOffer sells reproduction version that uses your existing seat base & electronics for a fraction of Tesla’s price.

Tested twice more tonight and had the same result both times The car doesn’t budge on the green arrow which means it’s entirely stuck at this light (that red light at the top never turns green) This is a massive regression from 14.2.2.5 (and many earlier versions) @Tesla_AI plz
RBOTAXI DRIVER@actuallyajoke

Critical disengagement/big regression with FSD 14.3.2 Car did not proceed on green arrow (light at top remains red). I tried the go pedal but that only made the car inch forward, so I briefly took over to proceed and reported it as a critical disengagement

@yesnomaybenada @actuallyajoke @Tesla_AI No I was behind several cars which is why it didn’t have time to correct as all lanes were full. It selected the wrong lane while behind several cars and the correct lane was already full so there wasn’t a way to merge back. However it also didn’t show intent to fix itself.

“Intersection went red?” That’s a good comment actually. Did the front bumper cross the stop bar under green or yellow (legal movement)? If so, there may be a technical glitch correctly interpreting red light operations at a traffic signal. Was this a case of getting caught turning left on red due to a delay after entering the intersection legally?

Plugged in again at the local V3 supercharger with 13% this time. Charge rate topped out at 181 kW and then started plummeting. At 25% I hit 150kW charge rate. Is this acceptable, @Tesla ?

@IanSamyth @nikkharris Yep, it’s unusable in heavy traffic if you’re taking a lot of exits. It seems to think it can merge three times in heavy stop and go traffic in a quarter mile. It was really frustrating in and around Chicago. Had to constantly disengage to avoid reroutes.

not sure if it's coincidental, but i've tried hurry mode twice recently and have hit this both times when it's unsure if lanes are converging ahead, instead of assuming it may, it zooms forward until it's too late and relatively hard braking is required
