I've changed my hairstyle so many times now. I (he/him) fight for the user.

Reserve the right to revise my priors if we learn tomorrow Ford has been taking French lessons for six months but my Occam's Razor theory here is that Ford just sees politics as much more about relationships and he and Poilievre do *not* get along.
Mackenzie Gray@Gray_Mackenzie

Multiple Poilievre Conservatives have told me they think that Doug Ford is gunning to try and become the federal Conservative leader and that’s at the heart of the distrust in Ford from the Poilievre team. Don’t think these comments from Ford will mend any fences… #cdnpoli

@bobwillette Expectations for TFC are always tempered, on some level. The Jays are the cruelest of all, with their false promise of hope. (That "other" franchise is just cursed. Something rotten at the core of the institution.)

I’ll be staying up late tonight to watch the debate, but I’ll be up early to talk about it tomorrow morning on PIX11 at 7:30 if you’re in the NYC metro, and on Vox’s Today, Explained for NPR everywhere else.

@SLSheppard Something in this vein was a great moment in the original StarCraft. I still remember Tassadar and Fenix's exchange, and used to joyfully recite it to many uninterested friends in the late '90s.

Space Marine III needs multiple viewpoint characters you play as so that one of them can seem to die halfway through the game, only to return in the second-to-last level for a sequence where you play as a dreadnought.

Now that I've purchased an expensive distraction-free writing program I'd like to see my ADHD wriggle its way out of THIS jam! *It wriggles its way out of the jam easily* Ah! Well. Nevertheless,

oh so there's like, LOTS of different colleges, huh? i bet it's tough to figure out which one to go to. like, this one's close to home. and this one's further away, but it's a really good college. and then this one over here offered you a scholarship. i bet it's a tough decision

Many disabled people use computers/assistive technology to create and edit their work and somewhere around 0% of them need ChatGPT to write a story or make a poster for them out of whole cloth

There is also a lot of obfuscation going on to make "AI" synonymous with the worst generative AI slop rather than assistive tools like spellcheck, Grammarly, text-to-speech, auto-captioning, etc. x.com/gabrielledrole…
Gabrielle Drolet@gabrielledrolet

The belief that disabled people cannot write without the help of a computer feels far more ableist than being against AI. If someone has the desire to write and tell stories, they are likely able to improve on their own or with help from real, human people
