@Papaparra147 Lastly something I think is important is to disregard any self criticism while you're drawing cus I notice many people fear bgs, so probably you'll think it's looking like sh but to hell w that, have fun placing things next and on top of each other and have a cool lengthy session

Drawing backgrounds is actually pretty therapeutic

@Papaparra147 Also you need a basic understanding of perspective so that you don't get lost. Occassionally I try to draw from real life too. Worth noting, Kim Jung Gi is very inspiring to me, I've looked at his drawings pretty closely to see how he handles form, depth, shading and all that.
