We are aware that many of you have a number of questions following the Deputy First Ministers announcement that schools and nurseries will close from 20 March 2020.

We have taken the decision to scale down our inspections at this time, and put in place arrangements which will involve gathering information, assessing the level of risk in care services and establishing assurances about the quality of care people experience.
