@MaryMcAuliffe4 Thanks Mary! Do you know anything of where her mother's family came from in Meath? I also saw on MyHeritage that her mother's mother was from Cavan but can't confirm - it may be the Meath info is in her mother's [Scottish?] birth record somewhere...

Clarification via Facebook: She was born in Coatbridge, which is 8.5 miles from or on the outskirts of Glasgow - her father's (James) roots are in Monaghan (Cornagilta, Tydavnet) and her mother's (Jane [O']Dowd, Barrhead, East Renfrewshire) roots are likely originally in Meath
