@istanbulplace And Turkish food is utterly amazing. It was the first country I visited (back in 1992) where I thought "This food is incredible!" #TRLT

A3: Istanbul culture has resulted in quite a mix for us! A bicultural (English-Turkish) son, fabulous extended family and all sorts of food inventions. Roast chicken with yoghurt anyone? It’s delicious! #TRLT

@xyzwtf_55 Thanks! Roast chicken isn’t ’a thing’ in Turkish cuisine although it’s very British. And Turkish yogurt does seem to improve almost everything….

A4: The 19th century apartments we offer for Istanbul stays - in Galata - are all historic and full of stories. We try to preserve all the originality we possibly can so that guests can feel it all too… #TRLT

@LindaPeters64 @TheTravelCamel @RTWBarefoot Thanks! We have 5 apartments sharing this terrace, which can get quite sociable on summer evenings. Recent guests were researching ancestral family who lived in the building and flew kites here as children in the 1900s - fascinating! #TRLT
