Yesterday marked the 8th anniversary of the ISIS terrorist killing of Colonel Arnaud Beltrame in France.
He volunteered to exchange himself for a young female hostage held by a jihadist gunman at the Trèbes supermarket in Southern France.
The jihadist slashed his throat before police stormed the building.
He deliberately sacrificed his own life for a stranger.
Hero of French and Western civilisation.

Loana a été retrouvée morte chez elle. Plusieurs semaines après son décès. On n'imagine pas la capacité de destruction qu'est la téléréalité. Je n'aurai pas de pensée pour ses proches. On n'est pas proche quand il faut plusieurs semaines pour s'inquiéter. Repose en paix.

I’m sorry, but this is just ridiculous. Race swapping Snape and most of the students, including Hermione, completely kills the immersion in HBO’s Harry Potter show.
Snape was written as a thin, greasy haired man with a pale, sneering face. Turning the story into one about racism destroys its internal themes, and ruins the story.
This show was over for me the moment it chose tokenism over staying faithful to the books.
