Another one of those little shocking AI moments: this sound clip was generated in 46 seconds on my home PC from the script below. Just the text Nari Lab's Dia does some of the best expressive AI voice I have seen and it is open weights & created by two undergrads with no funding

Hi @PerryCarpenter and @itsMasonAmadeus! Thanks for looking into my post in last week's episode! I'm only replying now after a crappy week receiving 15 (most probably AI infused) job application rejection emails. Listening to the #thefAIkfiles brought some light into my day!

@PerryCarpenter @blakkos @AskVenice I recreated your weird output (sort of) by using the same prompt repeatedly and slowly inching up the temperature until it broke (in my case at 1.7)

@PerryCarpenter @blakkos @AskVenice ... on 'either side' of that likely word. Higher temperature means it can choose from less-likely next tokens, and thus you get more randomness. Too low, and you get basically autocomplete. The default temp thru venice client is 0.9 which i think is fairly high
