@UNDP’s Insurance and Risk Finance Facility, #IsDB and @isdbinstitute jointly launched @COP28_UAE a new paper that highlights opportunities, challenges and recommendations for Takaful - a shariah-compliant insurance alternative - to leave no one behind #SDGs ‘Insuring a Sustainable Future: Building Climate Resilience Through Takaful’ lays out evidence and key recommendations for Takaful to be developed, implemented and scaled to build the financial resilience of at-risk Muslim communities on the frontlines of climate change. Mr. Amer Bukvic, Acting Director General- Global Practice and Partnerships, IsDB delivered insightful closing remarks. The panel draws on these recommendations, lessons learned and stocktaking towards providing services to the most vulnerable communities.
