Favorite @HoopsTerps Billy Hahn story that John Lucas @JLEnterprises & other teammates told me. Terps were up big in a game that Billy‘s parents were visiting from Indiana. With two minutes to go left, Lefty Driesell had not put him in the game yet so Billy ripped off his warm-ups and checked himself in.

Coaches be mindful to the messages you send to your players. Can’t build narratives on physicality and then get scared when toughness shows up!!! Build them up on what you teach them daily and they’ll be prepared for whatever.
