@jt_english @TreyHildebrant Richard Dawkins said Charles Darwin “made it possible to be an intellectually satisfied atheist.” Holy Post starts to make sense if you view it through the lens of “desperately trying to make it possible to be a morally satisfied Christian that votes Democrat.”

This is just bad theology. It assumes theological development ceased in 381 A.D. What about Chalcedon, Pelagianism, the Reformation, and theological anthropology facing the church today? The church isn’t *adding* to orthodoxy. The church is *applying* orthodoxy to new issues.

Cynicism is easy. Building is hard. The world already has plenty of critics. What it needs are builders. The world has plenty of people pointing out what’s wrong. What it needs are people who build what’s right Here are 5 reasons building is better:

Build families. Build churches. Build institutions. Build businesses. Build things that last.

5. Building leaves something behind. Criticism disappears quickly; faithful work blesses people for generations. Don’t settle for the cheap substitute of cynicism when you’re called to build things that outlast you.
