I want to share my personal experience so others can be aware and make informed decisions. Back in February, I purchased a custom-built PC from @xTheWhale_ , based in Germany, for around €5800. It took about two months before I received anything, and the first package only contained CPU coolers, not the full computer or anything else. When the full PC finally arrived in May, it turned out to be defective, there was no display output from the GPU. The seller suggested that the issue was with my monitor (a new Zowie model) and that it wasn’t compatible with NVIDIA GPUs, which I knew wasn’t true and later confirmed with him as well. After multiple calls, testing different cables, and even trying another monitor he sent, the issue remained, as expected. He then said he would send a replacement PC on September 11th and asked me to return the original one, which I did. But since then, I haven’t received any new PC. Instead, there have been constant excuses for why it hasn’t been sent, and when I finally asked for a refund after months of waiting, communication completely stopped. I also want to make it clear that I fully understand unexpected situations can happen, and I’ve offered him multiple fair solutions, including returning my money through an installment plan to ease things financially on his side, or simply sending the computer instead after all this time. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response to that either. I’ve now learned that another buyer, the professional League of Legends player @RazorkLoL , had an almost identical experience: paying roughly the same amount, receiving a defective system with the same issue, and being asked to return it without ever getting a replacement or a refund. If anyone else has experienced something similar from him, please feel free to reach out to me via DM, I’d like to take this further legally and make sure this doesn’t happen to others.
